My name is Sheraden,
I am a registered nurse, māmā of two girls and the certified Hypnobirthing Australia™ Practitioner behind
Kaia Birth.
It is my passion to support women through pregnancy and birth. One way I love to do this is by teaching and sharing the knowledge that undoubtedly enables mama’s to have an amazing and positive experience through birth and beyond.

WHAT IS HYPNOBIRTHING
Hypnobirthing uses evidence based natural techniques to combat labour and birth related fear and pain. The course is also designed to help parents prepare for a positive and empowered birth through knowledge, support and a toolbox of tricks!
With use of self-hypnosis (otherwise known as deep relaxation), understanding how creating a calm & safe environment and your breathwork, we can release natural endorphins, altering the bodies level of pain. Endorphins are 40 times stronger than morphine!
Through the use of positive affirmations and visualisation, learn how to alter your subconscious and prepare your brain’sresponse to a painful stimuli.
Thus, we are teaching you to use what you already have! The wonderful human mind, body & soul.
With these techniques, and further knowledge and tools, we work together to enable you and your birth partner to look forward to your birth without fear and achieve a positive birthing experience.
Remember, we are made to birth so let’s birth without fear.

GROUP IN-PERSON OR ONLINE CLASSES
This is a two-day course, over a weekend day per month, usually over two Saturdays.
